Password Protected Smart Security System Using Arduino UNO
Students have developed a Password Protected Smart Security System using Arduino UNO. The project uses a keypad, LCD display, servo motor, red LED and green LED. The keypad is used to enter the predefined password. The LCD displays password status. When the correct password is entered, the green LED glows.
The servo motor rotates and the door automatically opens. If the password is incorrect, the LCD displays “Wrong Password”. The red LED glows to indicate an unauthorized attempt. This project demonstrates the practical use of electronics, coding and automation. Students learned Arduino programming and interfacing of different electronic components. The activity enhanced their problem-solving, logical thinking and hands-on skills. The project reflects students’ creativity and application of STEM concepts.</p>
