Building as Learning Aid, known as BALA, deals with the topic of developing school infrastructure as a learning aid. BALA allows children to make teaching and learning interesting and child-centric at all times in the school environment. It emphasizes on giving a new dimension to educational experiences beyond the textbook, making learning more continuous and lively. BALA is an innovative concept towards qualitative enhancement in elementary education through intervention in school building infrastructure. Since buildings are the most expensive physical assets of a school, efforts should be made to extract maximum educational value from them. Thus, BALA is all about exploring the uniqueness of three-dimensional space as a child-friendly learning resource for all children. Hence, we conclude that the full form of BALA is Building Age Learning Aid. Work is going on in our school under BALA, in which various informative topics have been made on the pillars, stairs and walls of the school for the students to learn, like in the primary section, information related to Hindi subject has been written on My FLN Train stairs. Paintings related to science have been done and rangoli related to directions has been made on the floor.
